Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures

With commentary from Hollywood stars, outtakes from his movies and footage from his youth, this documentary looks at Stanley Kubrick’s life and films. Director Jan Harlan, Kubrick’s brother-in-law and sometime collaborator, interviews heavyweights like Jack Nicholson, Woody Allen and Sydney Pollack, who explain the influence of Kubrick classics like “Dr. Strangelove” and “2001: A Space Odyssey,” and how he absorbed visual clues from disposable culture such as television commercials.

VexMovies Review:

Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures – awesome movie from 2001 year. Most movies, even the greatest ones, evaporate like mist once you’ve returned to the real world; they leave memories behind, but their reality fades free quickly. But not Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures. I was so emotionally destroyed that I saw the entire movie three times on the internet almost in one go.

There are some stages in this movie that I will remember them until death. The director is insanely talented guy. This movie online seriously is incredible. My favorite movie of this director, and that’s saying something!

The soundtrack, the atmosphere and the characters. The fact it still holds up so well is a testament to what a work of art it is. I uploaded this movie to VexMovies, now you can see this movie online for free.
